As part of my work on Rust, Rubbish, and Reflections I have assembled my favorite Reflection pictures in one place. A large percentage of them are made in harbors, particularly in Victoria BC and Iceland. Others are made in streams, puddles, windows, the sides of cars, and so on.
In Amsterdam. I went back to this spot several times in one afternoon to try to get the light right, and I think I finally did.
A very long exposure in Victoria
Note the balloons during the Gay Pride parade
A group of buoys in Victoria, exposed at 1/100 sec.
Same scene, longer exposure (1/50)
Reflections in the window and metal of a shiny car
Never tried cropping a reflection like this before, but I think it works.
In Akranes, Iceland. I used it to end a presentation of my Iceland shots.
In the Palouse. It took a lot of work in Photoshop to bring out all the details
Also needed some Photoshop work
In Victoria. I'm trying to emulate Eddie Soloway
To get this shot I waited a couple of hours until the sun was in the perfect place to get reflections of both sides of this corner. It needs some study.
Shot while waiting for the sun to get in the right place for the corner. This building is magnificent for reflections.
Note the reflection of the faces in an ad for a movie
A fence in my neighborhood reflected in the side of a car.
Building reflected in car windows
I'm not sure where this was
Made by light shining through a plastic tumbler on the windowsill. I did not set this up - just noticed it.
At the Alameda County Fair in California
A woman was washing the street outside a building in San Miguel de Allende
In Trinidad after a bit of rain
I'm not sure what this is

Parts of the library are designed for reflections, and this was my best shot of it.
Torn signs make good subjects. Here is interesting way of shooting them.
